Because it doesnt really. For instance im a trans woman who likes women by my standards yes Im gay but to people who would deny my identity I would be considered straight.

The umbrella for this political following is so large that asexual people aka incels and catholic priests are technically part of the LGBTQQIP2SAA++...

And Allies are another one of the A's and thus you can be "straight" and be part of the LGBTQQIP2SAA community.
