Not looking but anybody watch when the house guard horses bolted, just five of them caused chaos in London.
One even went straight into a bus.

I have been around horses a lot and see the power but those horses are on another level.

the DIM has veal for dinner tonight.. if I were the driver or passenger.. I would demand my share of the meat;)

8 passagers.. 1 driver.. plenty of meat for everyone;) an avrerage deer has like 24kg of meat.. so each could take 2.5kg of veal home

as for the window.. thats covered by the bus compagny so none of their problem...

here it is rare to bump into one.

in france.. I learned during a holiday.. when you hit an animal.. it is mandatory you take it with you and not leave it... leaving it will give you a fine.. but when you take it do with it as you see fit... toss it in a compostheap or eat it or sell it to a butcher...
**hunting is normally quite restricted.. so you cannot legally just shoot one..
while generally a boar or dear does not cover the damage it did to your car..
it has given me ideas of some mad max kind of vehicle with spikes upfront to go hunting in france

so I see this and think : free meat!

It is important to human society that we appear to care about the death of any animal, so we might also be judged virtuously, and not viewed as a threat, so sayeth the lord thy god, secularism, in verses 1 through 1,000,000. it's rotating its lower body and moving its forelimbs, practically standing up. just dazed.

might have some arthritis in its old age but it's a non-crippling, non-lifethreatening non-casuality injury with no visible external damage.

landed on the spine so impact trauma to organs is unlikely. it seems fine more or less.

ripped that windshield a new one tho.

But roads and cars are a recent invention. Deers get spooked easily and they sometimes get confused when jumping into oncoming roads.

Deer: Should I commit to the crossing or turn back? There is a car heading right towards me. You know what? I’m just gonna stay on the road and hope they don’t notice me.
