Thumb if I'm typing.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=t5uAX0pyD_I
I was not classically trained as a typist. But I get by.
if typing both hands will be on the keyboard, and I will press the shiftkeys with my pinky or ringfinger
I have also never once used Scr Lk, or Pause.
err how do you leave a game or program to returnm backl to windows while it remains active in background with 1 key.. other than the windows key?
programs that not want to be minimined otherway...
and the pauze button is the fastest way to pauze most games...
Alt+F4 on the LEFT side (with my right thumb and middle finger) for exiting a program.
WinKey+D for new desktop (same fingers) on the LEFT side. (Works best when ALT-TAB doesn't work.)
WinKey+ Arrows to switch between desktops, or WinKey+F4 to close current extra desktop.
WAIT WHAT
The Pause key (above my PgUp key) actually PAUSES GAMES?
What sorcery is this?
Ah. On my keyboard, that's F16. And I don't think I've ever used any of the keys in that block in the first place (home, pageup, pagedown, etc).
As for Shift. . . I had to test to figure it out, but for typing I use my left ring finger. Not sure about gaming, I'd have to run a game that uses Shift a bunch to remember what my muscle memory is for that kind of thing. (honestly have no idea, I don't consciously think about these things. It's all habit at this point.)
