Why are devs afriad of hmofa romance?

Why are devs and pretty much everyone in mainstream media afraid of having any series with human male on female anthro romance in it? There's so much garbage out there where some human woman gets together with some ugly nonhuman male but never with the genders reversed. Hell we barely even get to have any video games that has humans and anthros in the same setting and even when there are you can never romance the anthros as a human male, for ♥♥♥♥♥ sake Elder Scrolls always had anthros in it and for Skyrim they decided to add in marriages and of course there isn't even a single female khajit you can marry without mods.

I'm sure steam has plenty of games these days to satisfy your niche fetishes, considering the kind of stuff that keeps dominating the front page of the store

The only game with actual hmofa romance on Steam is I Wani Hug that Gator and that's a VN and I've already played it and Snoot Game. Also I want hmofa games that aren't just porn games too, like would it kill for them to have an RPG or something where you can have a cute catgirl gf?

Its funny too, a lot of furries for some reason are very vocal against hmofa online. They're so deluded with their fursona sparkledog self inserting that they actually see hmofa as NTR against them.
