Your thoughts on the Xbox Showcase (that showcased games for all systems, not just Xbox)?
I'm personally excited about the new Life is Strange: Double Exposure and Gears of War: E-Day game. It's been a while since there's been any new game for either, be it sequel or prequel.

Hell, any new games in general for that matter that are single player focused. With Gears, hopefully it means the Marcus Fenix Collection might be happening too. That trailer definitely gave "Gears of War Mad World" vibes.

is worst, they going to release doom on ps5, mostly they going to kill xbox, so the question is why should we buy xbox ?
don't you have a pc right.
m$ focus is on gamepass anyway, they want to drive sales and that means pc is their focus because more people own a pc than an xbox.
you dont answer the question why someone should buy xbox ?

Right, i understand, but what i'm saying, is most all of those games announced, were for both console, and pc gamepass. And so, it is on the PC, not, maybe not Steam lol. It wasn't a "Steam" showcase, it was an Xbox one, but they too, have PC games.

plz dont confuse xbox with window and last time i check steam run on linux

read title xbox showcase, not window showcase

and anyway i dont have window 11, so why i should care about junk like copilot or recall ?

You're missing the point here. People are saying "I don't care about Xbox because I'm a PC player".

Most if not all games shown will come to PC too.
exept they also announce news about their console, it is not only about their games

Because we get it all. We get Game Pass, we get Ge Force Now and access to Steam, and with that even access to Sony games. You get everything on Xbox. As compared to Sony, where you get none of that.

it is xbox showcase, not window 11 or wathver running on window 11 like copilot or recall

and i remind you they going to release doom on ps5, so not so much about window
again your pc has an xbox app soo that means nothing.
plz, not all pc run on window 11, maybe what you say is true with window 11, but people who doesnt use window 11 going to lol about your xbox on their OS
And suddenly paid mods have been added to Starfield.

Probably unrelated.

Off topic, interesting and maybe i missed it, but did not see one thing about Starfield. It's like they abandoned it, unless i missed it.
I think the argument of PC jeopardizing Xbox (or vice versa) is silly, they aren't really competing with each other anymore.

Microsoft seems to have figured that Xbox (or really, consoles in general) work best as a budget plug-in-play PCs. For ~$500 you still get incredibly high specs and ability to play modern games without the hassle of dropping a few grand on a PC and all the trouble that comes with running likely unoptimized games. Consoles are a cheaper alternative to PC, not something to replace it outright. Microsoft is smart in releasing on both so that they have double the potential reach.

PC for people who want full control over what they run. Consoles for people who just want a simple streamlined experience but with comparable quality to that of PC gaming, at a budget.

Yeah, I mean... considering the name of the event, that's expected.

The issue for people that want more PC centric games, is that Microsofts games are hindered due to the limitations of the Xbox where they are developed for.
Is the difference in power between something like the Series X and PC really that large? On a meaningful scale at least, I don't consider graphical stuff like one being capable of 4K and the other not as an issue. Imo, anything beyond 1080p is just crossing the point of diminishing returns so shouldn't really be a focus anyways.

Is the gameplay itself really hindered by this gap?
