Yeah, mask around diseased areas and quarantine the sicks - were reasonnable things to do since like, 8 centuries. That's the long and short of it, seriously.


Why pre-covid nothing was done ? Beats me, the EU even took 3 months doing nothing during the first phase of the declared pandemic, then asked for a priority treatment to the industry, and they not only laughted at, but also needed to go on the waiting list, as all others that didnt sleep for 3 monthes. I mean, i was eight when i had seen on my TV screen a child soldier, and he had the same age as me. Nothing was done. Today something like 75% of cacao production infolves child slavery. Nothing is done. Beats me for why nothing was done pre-covid. Hey, maybe i have, have you seen the video www.youtube.com/watch?v=e2pdH9FnGrs ? At least THEY has an inland vaccine and masks production facility, contrary to the EU (not totally true, but let's stay at that). but ask them, why did pre-brexit nothing negociated ? In the end the UK finished in the rain and some even had to redo contracts with foreign contractors on the spot the day of the brexit.
So, why pre-covid nothing was done ? Because we are humans, and in the average response of average countries facing a pandemic, the average reaction is deeply lacking.
