personally? i don't care what people want to do with their bodies in this regard; that said it's probably best to do your research if you're going to get one but idk depending on local regulations it might not be easy to find out all ingredients in the ink
i'm also a māori new zealander though and tattoos are part of my culture, so i feel a little differently about it than a lot of people in some other cultures do
Well ... That's not the question here. I don't talk about aesthetics, but if people priorize their look or their health ? That's what I'm really curious about.
I also know that hairdressers are one of the job with the most cancers, because of all the chemicals (mainly dyes). Still, peoples continue to dye their hairs, even if it's not really a great move for your health. If your hairdresser get cancer, you may ask yourself if it's a good idea to continue to expose yourself to those chemicals too.
So, look or health ? What's your choice ?
"it's not really common still to use inks with heavy metals in them"
The bigger concern should be that tattoos can make it harder to detect and treat skin cancer.
That said, I have both arms covered with sleeves, and a little on my back. I would like more too, though priorities have changed for now. My demise isn't something I really think about. It's guaranteed to happen to all of us some day, so why worry about it.
You worry too much OP. Live life to the full, & enjoy it (your way).

Like everybody, yes. But that wasn't the question, the question is simple : What do you value more ? Your health or how you look ? Feel free to choose your look if you want, I'm interested about people's priorities here.
A dissident ! :o
I don't think you can generalize this. I mean people have been tatooing themselves since thousands of years.
The ink being possibly unhealthy isn't an issue to anyone who wasn't already a hypochondriac.
To the uninformed masses, these findings might seem alarming, but to one as mighty as I, they are mere details in the grand scheme of conquest. The allure of tattoos, the bold statements they make, and the stories they tell are as captivating as ever.
In the pursuit of power and dominance, the risks posed by tattoo inks pale in comparison to the glory they bestow upon those who bear them. Remember, Netaris, fear and doubt are the weapons of the weak. We, Decepticons, embrace the unknown, for it is within the chaos that true strength is forged.
Now, let us proceed with unwavering determination, for the Decepticon cause knows no fear!
Yeah no. The fact that there is plastic in our balls is EVEN MORE REASON to be more conscious about ♥♥♥♥ polluting our bodies.
