Looking for a classic but not old school rpg.

I really want an mmorpg thats not old at this point but none exist. Granted first descendant is coming out soon. However, I will have to settle with a single player one.

Am looking for classic rpg experience. But not old school graphics and controls. A good example would probably be fable. Open world, fun to explore and see whats here and there. Kind of like elden ring but more exciting to progress your character. Elden ring is good but too much and I dont feel as finding loot is really exciting. To me its about the fights, combat, and the strategy.

Anyone know any good rpgs I havnt played yet? JRPG is ok. I havnt played much of those...so if theres any good open world exploration ones id be okay.

Wigmund is a decent example was just a little too old school style for me. Mass effect was good ofcourse and something in that caliber would be fine too. One game I remember being pretty good was two worlds 2.

There really arent many good classic styled rpgs anymore huh.

Haha no i think its amalur but then again I have no idea LOL. Well yeah thanks for reminding me. I did play before but my inventory got full right away and storage was like 2 towns away so I quit. Maybe I will try it again.
