thus in the same group man are always taller than woman.
ofcourse if a whole group is taller so are the woman.
dutch man are on average 1.84m
dutch female are on average 1.76m
meaning our woman are taller than most man in the world.. but still shorter than our own man.
my best friend is like 5'9 and his girl is 6'1
I think they look cute and fine next to each other uwu
What do you mean?
Basically girls growth plates usually stop growing a few years after menarche due to the hormones present, to the best of my understanding.
Guys don't have so much estrogen (though we do have it) so it takes longer for our growth plates to harden.
I wouldn't say they make me feel less masculine. It's just that taller than average woman is not a trait that I fine attractive. That's not to say I find them ugly. Two women spring to mind that I had a bit of fun with. One of them I actually dated, I was only 16, so it was back in my early days, and I was just starting to work things when it came to the ladies.
I worked out that I'm more attracted to petite women, say about 5'2" - 5'6"
At least it works that way for midgets. Like they got to puberty very early like with 8 years or something, so the process to grow stopped earlier.
Which is probably also connected to the thing that men usually act like children, while women would act like grown ups.
I think in average the tallest woman are in Netherlands around 170-180 cm, while the shortest are in Guatemala 148 - 155 cm, if i'm not mistaken.
To that end, and for other reasons besides, like outrunning adaptable parasites, we have a division of labor among the sexes. Sexual dimoprhism is the term you've likely heard. Women don't need to be tall or strong, because they have men for that. Thus, female genes favor traits that both garner the attention of males, and which are conducive to reproductive capacity. Just as one example, women often complain that chocolate goes straight to their hips.
It actually does, in order to attract males by deceiving them into thinking a female's hips are wider than they are. The male brain instinctively comprehends this as "wide hips, good for child-bearing." You may know better in your neocortex, but damn, that girl is THICC. Is it really going to affect your reproductive decisions much? Especially if you're a teenage male? Probably not. Reproducing first and most successfully is the golden rule of evolution.
Is that actually what we want in a society? That's another matter, and we have many societies to make sure this sort of stuff doesn't just go haywire, but long before we had any society, this stuff was the rule. That humans carry it on to this day is no surprise, and yes, women will always be shorter, barring some form of genetic or cybernetic enhancement. And no, we can't just breed taller humans. These bodies already use pretty much every ounce of energy they are designed to. Making humans much larger would require a complete re-write of genetic code.
Personally, I don't see that working out very well with the technology and understanding we have today. We have THESE brains, built from THESE genes, and they are built from the molecules up to work. When you start ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ around with that, the usual result is depression and suicide, because thee bodies are made with a purpose. If they don't fulfill that, or just don't chemically perceive that they are, they self-destruct.
Don't get me wrong, I'm a tranhumanist as they come, I want to overcome these biological limitations, and indeed, I think it's part of our purpose as living beings. But for now, women be short, and women be women. That's just the way of the world, and God bless it, because people are apparently very irresponsible with jumping the gun on transhumanism.
