Canceling Pride leads to happier employees and a better work environment

My wife works for a publisher. And every June she is compelled to attend pride events. My wife is not gay, nor queer, nor associates with any person of the lgbt community. The only gays she knows, are from her work and she's not even friends with them. And yet she is mandated to celebrate pride events. After every forced pride event, she comes home mentally bruised and battered. Emotionally exhausted and spiritually depleted. She like all her none lgbt coworkers are miserable because of pride. I tell her to quit her job, I make more than enough to support us, but she loves her job and the friends she has there, and would be bored out of her mind without her career. She cant stand that her employer is so insistent on forcing everyone to celebrate pride.

In contrast. I'm the exact opposite. I do not force my employees to celebrate pride. I've canceled pride company wide. In every single business that I own, my employees thank me for it. They thank me for the peace of mind. Sure pride events can still be held by those that celebrate pride. But my companies no longer support such events financially. Nor do we mandate participation in them anymore.

Long story short; Canceling pride boosts worker productivity, increases worker happiness, and overall job satisfaction. Not only are my employees, not forced to celebrate something they may not believe in. But they can not be punished or retaliated upon for their choice not to partake in pride. And they love me for it. And they work even harder, because they're happy.

When was it ever mandatory?

The law protects your religious and philosophical views, and your employer cannot require you to support or affirm LGBTQ, a Faith or a certain Religion, etc.

It's legally not allowed to be forced. Nor should it. Everyone can just choose to support it or ignore it, including the company, if desired.

Same reason why I hate mandatory pride events. It's demoralizing being forced to pretend to support something you dont believe in. Being forced to validate someone else's identity. Being forced to love your oppressor. I was born in a soviet ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥. I know what being forced to consume propaganda is like.
