Edit: Actually, I guess it's 3 if you include my native language. Though, I speak English and even German way better than it.
But I understand Dutch, German, English, French, Italian, Spanish and... American.
Dutch (native) C2++
English (at 2d lvl native) C1/C2
Frisian (basic) B1/ B2
German A2
Norwegian A1
Latin A1
english : 2d lvl non native..
vocubulairy of over 10000 words..
equal or better language skill as an average native speaker.
but I don't have the proper accent yet and might use the wrong (amercan) words at times. only uk posh eglish is correct.
frisian, skilled.
I aint native.. limited vocabulairy.. scuentiffic documenta in this language very hard to understand.. if I read a newspaper or such I will have some words I not know but I grasp enough to understand.
dayly conversantions including social talk is however conpletely natural.
german.. advanced basic.
I understand grammar and I know an actual vocubulairy.. like if I suddenly are halted and asked for directions or asked my political opinion in German.. I can. but.. often i have weird breaks.. like I have often to think what was the word for this.. this makes it unnatural.. and slow to talk in german for me.
and why I consider myself still basic. I can ironicly understand german songs and booksand newspapers jusr fine so my reading and hearing skill in German is much further advanced than my speaking.. basicly german.
likely if I had more practice like a few weeks around germans i be b1 in german. usually at holidays there my gaps in speaking slowly dissapate..
norwegian.. basic.
i have not mastered the grammar.. also not started basic skikl I think in german frisian english when speaking those.. with norwegian I think Dutch.
I have expressions and sentences learned in Norwegian.. this allowed me to order sonething in a shop and wish somebody a happy birthday.. but at a?party with norwegiab speakers around I cannot follow what they are saying..
this same effecticely is my latin.
I know some words amd sentences but I have not reached a true basic lvl yet
Tried and dont remember any french or spanish
I speak english better than finnish. People used to think I am an outlander.
sure I can order in french a croisant.. and I can count till 10 in it..
amd know a few lines of text like my name is ... what is your namr.
i dont speak french.. I am dutch can we please speak english or german?
but I not consider that enough to be A1.. for that I really need to know like 1000 words and be able to do just a?little more..
basicly if you know a lamguage no more than a tourist who has learned 3 worda Dutch he now tosses around all the time.m thats not A1.
A1 is like a migrant who has moved to a nation and learned just enough of the local language to not starve and ask directions.
