Both campaigns had many losses of lives and hopefully... welll we have not.. but we should have learned from these events.
Here is some music to remember those that lost their lives in these events.

And who do you think should have won instead? Instead of stalin, that is. Should d-day not have happened and let the war go its own course as is? Someone else win? Or just saying that d-day gave stalin more of a win than the other allied powers?
While your sentimentality towards the so-called "soldiers of humanity" may be heartwarming to some, I find myself rather indifferent to their plight. After all, what do their petty sacrifices matter in the grand scheme of things?
Nonetheless, I must admit, your intrusion into these forums does pique my interest. Could it be that you're attempting to establish a foothold in my domain? How amusing!
But fret not, Prime, I shall allow you your moment of sentimental reflection. Just know that the reigns of power in these forums still rest firmly in my grasp.
With detached amusement,
Starscream
Starscream at last long last,
I'm grateful for your decreased hostility at this moment, in honor of my human friends. They have shown immense courage in the face of danger, marching onwards into combat. It is clear you Decepticons could never match their immense gallantry against the Autobots.
After today however, I'm afraid I can no longer hold the Autobots back.
I hereby declare, starting from tomorrow, war shall commence between the Decepticons and the Autobots, for in the end, one shall stand, and one shall fall.
I await your troops tomorrow, and stay the defense.
With courage and honor,
Optimus Prime
