You do. And there are a LOT of active accounts on here that only have that spent. No games, zero hours played in anything. Literally a burner account created for no other purpose than to troll the discussions.

Only allow peoples to comment on forums when they have at leats buyed one game and have at least a few hours in game. So, no more bots and less alt accounts.
But we all know this will not happen anyway, because Valve don't care.
Around 30 accounts total (and I suspect some on those are the same persons), mostly because of bad behaviors toward me (repeated insults, silly mind games, weaponisation of the report function and so on, those who make too much troll / bait threads too).
My main rule is to forbid myself to block someone if this person do nothing wrong to me. I avoid blocking peoples who disagree with me for example, as I consider it's sane for everyone to face criticism and other worldviews. I do it only in extreme cases, like those who try to normalize pedophilia or things like that. Like everybody, I have my limits, but I want to avoid being stuck in an echo chamber too.
Somebody already mentioned it, but you don't need to spend any money. Just 60 minutes of playtime in a free to play game.
Next time you notice an account whose name appears as a string of numbers until quoted or you hover your mouse over the name/avatar? That's a limited account posting. That means they've put absolutely zero money on Steam.
Oh, I didn't know that. Always thinked it was a bug of some kind.
