Derek Chauvin has just been found guilty of all three charges pending against him.

I'm glad the trial is finally over.

Glad he was guilty on all charges. I hope his appeals fail. I hope he gets the maximum sentence on all charges. I also hope they put him in gen pop. He shouldn't get special attention because he was a cop. No place on the police force for racist cops.

Actually less. The prosecution stopped referring to him having his knee on his neck after it was discovered for much of the time the knee was on Floyds shoulder blade.

Plus folks if you think there's an airway to block on the back of your neck perhaps you should take a simple class in biology.

So George Floyd would have died either way? Isn't that what the defense of that cop tried to argue with? It's like this silly sentence I keep hearing when the news here are bringing up the newest Covid-19 death cases and they say "X people have died with or because of it." As if that knee on his neck had no influence on things at all. That's cynicism in its most terrible form and most likely scientifically wrong too.

Sorry science is on my side. And the knee on the neck could be a contributing factors but remember the cops wanted to put him in the car. He assaults cops and fought with them and REQUESTED to be put on the ground. If Floyd would of simply complied then he would of likely died anyways. He had 3 times to fatal Fentanyl levels in his system and had previously in a different arrest ingested drugs to escape drug charges.

According to your "logic" all of the Republican politicians, pundits, government officials and law enforcement who defended and advocated for Chauvin, more than cancel out the one Democratic politician who said "get more confrontational."

There was no justice for George Floyd. This is for other people. A system so screwed up that people are shocked (pleasantly or otherwise) that killing a man in broad daylight on video actually returned a guilty verdict.
