Because I own this set - payed thirty USD for it brand new back in the day.
Must've been an older set then. That's why most of my horror films are DVDs. I like the big box sets - blu-ray is usually lackluster when it comes to that.
Well okay then.

Good stuff.
The video linked below details the production behind this remake.

What that means? I love to fight the horror if I can and I love to play games so.
I'd rather try and fight the beast in a game that's masterfully crafted to represent the modern day techno-dread opposite to something like Alien: Isolation where the player is virtually powerless.
Like literally they hacked the alien out of the game there so yeah I don't know.
It's just by virtue of a good ending which all Horror movies usually have in one way or another.
(read: directly or indirectly) is that I always feel like fighting back and doing something myself but as I say the director has made sure that at least the world survives so...
Except not paying your taxes and going to jail.
There is no horror and I'd like almost be inclined to say; to ask: prove me otherwise.
There is no horror other than psychological horror.
Oh? Right, That's.. Why I mentioned System Shock 2. It's a good game that represents modern day dread. I mean. Surviving... No?
Only thing I dislike about System Shock 2 is that it's pushing this hmm....
'mutalate your body for implants' kind of thing. Like agenda, no?
For some reason I'm so anti surgery an well not anti, this is wrong because of course I'm not against it but just the barbarity of it, is insasne at times to me so yeah.
There's another horror. Right?
Some pe, movies depict this good.

Even if they are parodies.
I like horror movies but I'm more of a non-gory but creepy viewer. I've found gore isn't scary but movies like The Grudge, The Sixth Sense and The Others were good. I still want to watch The Witch (VVitch) and The Lighthouse.
Holiday themed horror films aren't too common. Funny thing is, I have that film but I can't remember watching it. Maybe it was the OG - i'm not sure. I like underrated horror - it's like caramel popcorn. An unexpected surprise, but a welcome one.
Which The Grudge? The american remake or the original film from Japan?
I remember:
Village of the Damned
Dawn of the Dead (2004)
Insidious
Scary movie-franchise
Final Destination-franchise
Scream-franchise
Lots of other slashermovies
Ash vs Evil 1 + 2
Some others
The movie with the robotchild or so. Somewhere in a winterlandscape. Was scary.
Alien-franchise
Langoliers
Saw-franchise
I can't remember. It's so long ago. However, Final Destination 1 left the biggest impression to me. Specially 2 months later I had my first flight (I was around 12, I think). It was kinda awesome experience. Even thought 1 second we had fire in the engine...
