The New Assassins Creed games are bad.

I cannot stand the new style of the AC games.. The new jump to action RPG like gameplay was a terrible idea imo for the franchise. I am supposed to be an assassin, someone who has to sneak around more, and do stealth missions, ect. This new idea that i am a warrior instead now, and to take out enemies i have to hit them 20 times in the face, or do some stupid ability that breaks immersion because they are so ridiculous. I know the old games combat could of been more difficult, and better, but i actually felt like an awesome assassin, meant to sneak past enemies and get to the target. Now i just feel like some brainless warrior hacknslashing away at everything and having find run away from enemies because they have some made up level, and are too strong to touch. It so lame imo. Last good AC game to me is Black Flag, tho it was action i still felt more assassin like. I played all of them, and finishing up Valhalla now. Origins, Odyssey, and Valhalla are at the bottom of my fav AC games.

At this point, since they have dropped the whole Templar storyline of the first few games, why should Ubisoft even bother labeling it "Assassin's Creed" if it doesn't follow them anymore?

Oh right, money and franchise iconography of course..

It's not like Assassin creed games have ever been particularly good anyway, and the premise of the plot, with that machine that made you experience the past like in a simulation was immersion breaking itself. I mean according to the story of the game the story of the game itself was not even actually real... Not really happening "in real time" at least... It was terribly immersion breaking I don't understand why they decided to use such an unexciting plot gimmick... that made you feel like "none of this is real, it's just like a dream"... being immersion breaking on purpose is not very smart lol

♥♥♥♥♥♥♥, AC Unity has some bomb-ass graphics for its time. It honestly looks better than 90% of games releasing nowadays.

This is still the best one of the best videos Dunkey ever did imo, I've never seen such a well constructed takedown of an entire franchise done in so little time.

I saw a lot of opinions there tbh. lol Disagree with some of it, some i agree with. But i still prefer the old AC to the new ones. I personally thing AC needs to get smaller in size, not bigger like its been getting.

Out of the AC games I've played, the only one I've enjoyed enough to finish was Syndicate.

Moreover, being that you're supposedly playing through memories, none of your actions actually matter. Everything you do was already done; you're just playing a role.

I agree with you. I liked every assassins creed game until Origins appears. Origins was just the signal that AC games were going to fall, then came Odyssey, garbage, and Valhalla, still garbage. People complain about the fighting system of AC 1 through Unity, but it was satisfaying, could it be harder? of course, but counter attacking to be a easy kill was the point, they were trained, Ezio was, Altair was, Connor too. They just ruined a game that was a piece of art on Stealth, Assassins History, Epic Moments and the fighting system. I am sad, I will buy a gaming PC, a XBOX 360 and One, PS3 and PS4, just to play all of the AC game (except the ones).
