so man with legs spread = bad
woman with legs spread = good

also if you ever encounter one of these in the wild you can just flip it 180 and it will no longer force you to sit with legs crossed

Yeah. I haven't used public transport in a long time but when I did in the past, women tend to put bags on the seat next to them and generally take up more space from what I've noticed.
