more like Windows 11 isn't compatible with your hardware.
It's an inferior product

I'm using enterprise, still works until 2027. Or if you switch to enterprise IOT, you'll get support until 2032.

It will be a lot cheaper to replace the operating system ;)

To what?

The reality is I won't have to, to use Win 11.

win11 has weird requirements, just wait until 2025 when win10 actually loses support, I suspect a lot of heated arguments by then which may turn things around

no, my new pc came with 11
the company that offers power saving options to be green

does not care that it makes 500 million pcs artificially obsolete and ewaste with 1 decision

Yes.
All new motherboard is compitable with win 11. Or very least having a sticker that says so. If uncertain check your bios after TPM settings and enable it.

Yes, it is.

Maybe that's a good thing for me, because there will be a lot of modern office and workstation computers on the second-hand market.

It is compatible with the operating system, but not with some of its components.
For example, if I want to run pro, Bitlocker will require a TPM, so will Copilor, and I don't have one. My CPU is not on the supported list but can run it. SSE 4.2 with lack of any AVX. I will upgrade soon anyway.

I checked Windows 11 with a Kaby lake CPU, it runs fine. This CPU requirement is just a scam from Microsoft, Intel and AMD.

If a good dam Celeron can run Windows 11, anything can.

it's not that win11 can't technically run that hardware, it's just that the hardware doesn't meet the tpm requirement

it's not a scam, it's just a security requirement

The board has TPM, it should be up to the end user to say what security requirements are needed.
