While not exactly the demigod many make him out to be, he was a studious, disciplined, fighter with tons of raw talent and good instincts.
That means he wouldn't have just walked into a match without training within the rules of the match...
Fighting "for realz" has no rules. Fighting as a spectator sport has rules and the mark of a very disciplined, good, fighter is that they're fighting within those rules.
Why do you think Lee would not take advantage of the rules and then train for the fight he was going to fight?
Bruce Lee was not an astronaut because Bruce Lee never trained to be an astronaut. I win... :)
1. Where have I dismissed anybody's efforts? I have dismissed your lack of research.
2. At this stage you are a troll and I have no interest in discussing anything with you.
I am just going to post a random link with Bruce Lee in it so people can take something from this thread.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gqITbElGbwQ
And I am talking from someone who worked in various security roles and a generally 'interesting' area to grow up in.
second link about 7:25 another person states he would have been world champion in MMA, no idea who the person is.
Tyson about 8:35 respects Bruce Lee and the speed and getting in and out to do damage.
Bruce Lee's 2 finger push-ups.

whatever your blocked I don't do stupid.
other people here I am happy to talk with - after I get dinner.
In boxing ?
No, because Bruce Lee would have to fight in a very limited manner and have his hands which he uses in different ways reduced to blocks.
In a street fight?
Who knows, but watching the two Bruce Lee's advantage would be speed his ability to fight in all manner of disciplines and he had been training constantly for the way of no way.
Tyson's advantage at a guess would be his power and bone density.
I would put a few hundred on Bruce to win.
True.
