Jan 6th was a mostly peaceful riot that was heavily lied about...HEAVILY. Some news agencies like New York Times still has fake-articles about cops being killed by protesters. It's probably one of the greatest examples of human rights abuses during our time with people who were peaceful protesting being entrapped by law enforcement.

The rioters caused an estimated $1.5 million in damage to the Capitol building.

One was shot and killed. Another died of a heart attack. A third was crushed to death by the stampeding Trump mob.

Proud Boys even at the time attempted to call Donald Trump multiple times upon burner phones and claim they where ready for violence, awaiting his order before the riot even occurred. They all viewed themselves as and I quote "Trump's army".

The Proud Boys leader, Enrique Tarrio later told jurors that prosecutors are using him as a “scapegoat” for the former president (Donald Trump).
