How to deal with Office Politics
I am about to start a new job soon and I am concerned about working with individuals who may exhibit narcissistic and egoistic behaviors. Ignoring them might lead to potential issues in the workplace. I would appreciate any advice or insights on how to effectively manage interactions with such individuals to maintain a positive and productive work environment.

Work in a factory instead. It's a much more rewarding job and the pay is good.

Basically just have to play the game and act like what is expected. But sounds like you are going to have problems either way, if you're already worried about this now.

It's not that I am worried I was intern at some company and a manager level women treated me horrible as if i was a farm animal. I am just saying that in Corporates we should not make enemies but at same time being idle can potentially destroy our image as the other person sets to influence others
Uhhhhhm, hate to break it to ya, but in most countries, corporate culture is such that there is no such thing as a positive, productive office workspace. And they're all run by power-tripping hall monitors.

You are allowed to inquire about any office politics during your interview... thats the part where you determine if you'll be a good fit for the company.
But since you're waiting until your first day of work you've made your bed, now you have to sleep in it.
Have a very safe day.

I don't think that HR's these days are transparent about things such as office culture
Mostly HR's aren't your friends they look after the interest of companies and have no obligation for our saftey

You are not expected to be transparant either while sollicitating. It's all fake from the very start and everything about it is fake. Only the old veterans who stayed for a long time will know what things are really like at some point.

You must disarm them. Be vulnerable. But not vulnerable in a way that poses any potential risk, just vulnerable enough that they remember they are human.

Too bad the people where I live have pushed me out of manufacturing with their toxicity.

Control them?? You sound like some evil villain. That's not what being vulnerable means, I don't really understand that advice tbh

Sometimes it appears we must lose smaller battles to win the bigger war.

I'm not a fan of this terminology at all by the way. It was just the best way I could put it and have it understood.

I've found in life that you can have people genuinely be on your side by taking losses designed to be a net gain.

You don't have to control them, just inspire them.
