im so sick and tired of memorizing how an AI responds and repeating the same meta game for the entire lenth of the game.
multiplayer is different every time. its nice to have competition that you dont set the skill level for.
what skill level do people pick when they play single? do you set it so its easy and you can tour the game stress free? do you set it to medium to match your skills? or do you set it to hard to better yourself?
well i have news for you. your just setting how long the ai waits before it kills you. single player games make me feel like im special. i just want normal.
this. single feels like wandering around a tech demo. when does the game start bro?

I stopped playing MP games a long time ago with one exception ... Unreal Tournament. That is the only multiplayer game that I derive any enjoyment out of anymore.
I don't even care all that much for coop games either.
I don't really care what happens with the rest of them. I just hope they put a stop to adding them into single player games.

maybe there is a future for single player games
i remember sitting at home playing doom wishing i had friends.
then this happened.

-MMORPG - I love offline RPGs, good stories, long gameplay, very addictive and captivating, just me and a new world to explore until an epic ending.
The MMORPGs are mostly never-ending stories, graphics are mostly worst, the quests are long and hard to finish by myself because we don't have a group of NPC heros to help us, instead we need to gather a group of strange players without knowing if we can trust them or if they going to bail out at any point of the quest or at any moment we need them most. Another situation I hate, if I get part of a gathering of players to complete quests, and I have to exit the game at any moment, I can't save the game and continue later you have to end the quest first, which can take many hours and even if you save the game, when you return you have to gather another group and repeat the unfinished quest from the beginning. Later on, with new updates and expansions (that you have to buy), your progression may not be the same, sometimes can be better, sometimes can be worst, sometimes you can even lost all your progression for some bug reason. At the end you realize, you play less, you are always dependent from other players, you spent more time, more money without reaching your goals, than a offline RPG.
Reasons I hate MP games:
-Live-Service - For those who don't know yet, this live-service games were MP games only, but with the popularity of consoles since PS3, Xbox 360, Wii and smartphones, single player games start to make part of live-services too and later on they arrived on the PC. One thing is for sure, now live-service single player games are in fact rising. The thing is, live-service single player games are exactly like the MP games, the only difference you may not be dependent on other players, but you're still dependent on online servers and the popularity of the game. Depending on the game, this live-service SP games can be fun and not evasive like No Man's Sky, can be evasive with ads and microtransactions like Asphalt or Genshin Impact. Sometimes besides buying the game, you have to pay a monthly or annual fee, to access their servers to play the game, like The Elder Scrolls Skyrim Online or Star Citizen. The thing is live-service SP games have the same fate of MP games, a short/medium life, like what happen to The Crew, to give server space to the next game. A solution to save some of this games is launching a final patch for the online SP game become offline, instead of becoming an obsolete game like some MP games.
