You can't pretend that there isn't literally thousands of incels throwing a fit over depictions of women in video games becoming less like porn and more like reality. The only reason I know about this game is because of all the losers crying over not being able to see the digital vulva they were promised.

There might be a handful of actual examples of women being made ugly that you can turn to (Guerrilla's reason for Aloy's design in Forbidden West read as weirdly sexist to me), but for the most part, women leads are mostly just looking like normal ass women. That's kinda where the issue is, people will highlight some minor detail about a female lead and be like "this is the uglification of women in video games" and it's just like a women with a slightly more defined jawline like with the ubisoft star wars game.

Someone like Sigourney Weaver might've been considered one of the most beautiful women in her prime but if a video game character made today looked like that, then people would about her being ugly.

But that aside, I think your entire basis for viewing the world is pretty narrow and childish.
