Gemini, as a kid, fully half of my friends were black. It was a rural, 50/50 black and white town and school. Many would hang out and play in the woods or in the house playing videogames with my brother and me, and our white friends.

Sometime around the 8th or 9th grade, all of their older friends -- as well as their black teachers, their cousins, uncles, aunts, and gandparents -- told them "stop hanging out with white people" and they did. They were told we were the enemy, and they changed their behavior accordingly.
All except my friend James obeyed the new rules, and he was my friend even much later in life. He was shunned and beaten on for remaining friends with white people, and even the black teachers told him when he asked why he was being mistreated by all the other black kids -- "It's because you hang out with white kids and have white friends, and get good grades, and do your homework. It's because you act like the white people do." And this teacher told him he should stop doing all those things. Again, he refused.

It wasn't us. It wasn't my parents. They treated all my friends like family.

The OP makes me assume that they don’t have any interracial friends. As an American born Filipino, I’ve hung out with either blacks, whites, or Asians but this was when I was younger.

Ever since I graduated from highschool, it’s been hard to find friends because everyone has their own interests. Whereas for me, I grew up sheltered and a gamer.

Amen, kuya. I grew up with predominantly Filipino friends my whole life as a minority white kid, oddly enough. OP gives me the same vibes

Other day, i was watching Skysports and almost all advertorials had black people in it, as if AT LEAST half of England population is formed of black people.

I know it is being done for "Diversity" agenda, but even in EGYPT, there are far less Blacks, let alone UK.

It is like NOT LETTING half of the Black sprinters in 100m Sprint races because of "Diversity".

MANDATORY Diversity is the absolutely same s*** as MANDATORY Ultra-Nationalism. Because both of them put a "race related thing" over competition and equal treatment.

I mean, the absolute OPPOSITE of Third Reich Ideology is just another monster with equally dangerous traits.

What do i mean by "absolute OPPOSITE"?

Watch Eurovision Song Contest of the recent times, especially last decade, and see it yourself.

horseshoe theory in full effect

you go leaning to one side eventually you make a full circle to the other lol.

woke / pc always strikes me as closeted racism in a way people try to justify their actions to be more racist.

like a few jokes or stereotypes go a long way as much as you give them

but then there's making your own stereotypes that said group of people are too dumb stupid illiterate and don't know how to act like functioning adults. Basically calling them children that grew taller but never grew up.

plus everytime you bring said issue to light you just make it more apparent and give it more screentime.

BREAKING NEWS

a teacher called someone the N word
now here's a 1 hr long report of nothing to just blast it on air and maybe bring out more racists to support them plus we hope we'll scare you to join our side and not the side of the people supporting the teacher.

Yes but, we have not yet reached a point in time where ALL people can laugh at the jokes.
I don't think being racist means saying things that are racist sometimes, it's about your intentions

racism is a lot more than just throwing out slurs or stereotyping people, it's a deep subconscious factor that affects the way we think, even without us realising it (and yes, I would agree it affects all of us to some degree, to think that you could never say anything remotely racist just means you're young and haven't thought this through)

to be racist isn't to say things that can come off as racist, it's to own up to those statements and stand by them when the racism is pointed out, as long as you allow yourself to grow and learn, I don't think you're racist

on the topic of racial/nationality based comedy I think it can be hit or miss, but I believe that pushing societal boundaries is a part of comedians job descriptions... as long as they're not outright inciting hate

And sexist, but doesn't mean we shouldn't improve.

Haha that's awesome bro. I've had some friends who, for whatever reason, only hung out with people of the same ethnicity or race. I'm not sure if that's common in big cities like Los Angeles since i grew up most of my life near sacramento and I always met and befriend people of different ethncities/races.

We're locking this thread as it has devolved into non-productive argument. Thanks for your understanding.
