it would suck because valve has so much to do with steam and its history. counter-strike, portal, TF2... but the one good thing i can think of is that Minecraft would come to steam if microsoft bought it
gabe newell's net worth is 4 billion so if they offered him 16 billion he could sell it and ride off into the sunset. but idk if he would do that
Don't you think they would rather integrate or "sunset" Steam into the Xbox Store?
also gabe newell actually started out working for microsoft. he helped create one of the first version of windows. he left microsoft in 1996 TO create Valve and steam. so I'm sure that will play a factor in it also
