What do you think about men and women that only date a certain race? Do you find it shallow?

What you have described sounds pretty racist to me. I have been told in the past by Muslim girls in the UK that it would not be safe for me to date them, or even to give them a lift home. To be seen in a car with me, even though we were both work colleagues, would have been unacceptable apparently.

I guess we can't force our cultural standards on to anyone else but I am sure that dating within nationalist or ethnic boundaries is going to be less and less common as time goes on. It's not sustainable and causes a lot of suffering for people when a society dictates what should be your personal decisions.
Are you talking about my opinion and the fact that I said I most likely wouldn't date/marry a Malay man? Or are you referring to Malaysia's policies?

If it's the former, I can understand why you feel that way. I'm sorry if what I said sounded racist. I like Malay people and don't have anything against them. As I said, the main issue for me is the religious difference. I don't know much about Islam but as far as I know it is generally expected (especially in the case of a Muslim man marrying a non-muslim woman) that the non-Muslim partner will convert if they wish to marry. It just wouldn't be right of me to convert to the religion if I don't believe in God. Both for myself, my partner, and his family.

If it's the latter, yes, you're right. Malaysia's policies are very racist. Ethnic and religious favor of Malays and Islam is written into our constitution. It is one of the negative aspects of my country and I agree with you.

Or are you talking about Islam? In Islam, anyone can be a Muslim. It's less to do with the religion and more to do with Malaysia specifically. About what you said about Muslim girls in the UK, that's also probably less to do with your race and more to do with the fact that some Muslims do not like the mixing of genders rather than races. That's probably why they told you it would have been unacceptable. It depends on what culture they come from, in some Muslim countries the religious values are more relaxed or less and having an unrelated man and woman together is more acceptable.

Sorry for such a long reply, I wasn't sure specifically what you were calling racist so I wanted to address every possibility. I hope that I was able to do so and more importantly I hope my previous post didn't offend you, it's never my intent to be racist.

I am talking about the policies of Malaysia, nothing to do with anything you said about your personal beliefs. Sorry if I was not clear about that.
Thanks for making that point about the mixing of genders, I hadn't thought of that but it makes a lot of sense. There are some public buildings and even people's houses here where Muslim men and women still use different doors to enter/exit.
I still don't agree with it but I see how it's not something based on race or skin colour alone.
Nothing shallow about it. You like who you like, and that's it.
I’ve dated plenty of guys. Daddy was so mad at me. Teehee.

No problem, and you're welcome. But yes, that kind of thing is very common in many Muslim cultures. There's a large emphasis on separating the genders mainly because in Islam it's considered a sin to have sex outside of marriage and I think the idea is to reduce the chances for people to have lustful thoughts.

Definitely, though, I don't consider it a racist religion. I think most average Muslims in fact are very accepting people when it comes to race, and there's Muslims of almost every race. Definitely more a problem with our government than the religion in my opinion.
You are free to like whoever you want.
Sadly there are lot of people in this world who think that you should not be free and that you should do what they like instead.

i'm more into dragons.
Nothing wrong with having preferences. Literally everyone has preferences even if they like to pretend they don't.
I am also of mixed race. I have Turkish, Sumerian, Phoenician, Jewish and a bit of Afghan genes.

We shouldn't GOAD nor FORBID race mixings. Therefore, i am against occultist Nazism and current modern but corrupt agendas like DEI.

Dumb topic. We are all supposed to say "race doesn't matter" but that's just not how it is. The ones who say that care about it more than anyone else and think reverse racism is great.

We have a saying here that translates as: "Birds of a feather flock together". It refers not only to ethnicity, but also to social class. There is a lot of common sense behind it, and social science confirms this tendency. This has nothing to do with Nazism. It is simply traditional wisdom. Whether someone wants to accept it is up to them.

I mean, there is a scientific basis for race mixing. Preference of course will still play a role, but at minimum, you don't want to procreate within your own bloodline or too close to your own nationality, ethnicity, AND skin color.

You tend to inherit all the negative genes that encompass your people or family. So the further you are from someone else in terms of race, the better. Which is why there's so many light dark skinned and mixed race couples now. Incest and same blood mixing only dilutes the gene pool.

I have also heard of it and there is certainly inbreeding in very isolated areas or classes, but I doubt the absoluteness with which this thesis is put forward. If that were the case, there should be no different ethnicities and nations.

It seems to me that this thesis is currently being used as a pretext for socio-political abuse.

I find it not only "a bit weird" as some people earlier said, but really ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ weird, almost creepy and disturbing. Like some sick fetish ♥♥♥♥... acting like certain people are some mythical exotic creatures (like "I find Asian girls hot, white girls here are too boring and standard", what the ♥♥♥♥ am I supposed to say in response to this ♥♥♥♥♥♥ up ♥♥♥♥?), as if they're something special that should be displayed in a museum or a zoo and not just humans from another part of the world...

There's no "reverse racism", it's literally just racism. I get what you mean though, you probably know this and meant it this way, but I just wanted to say it anyway.
