Well i dunno about Birdo because this is not even Mario material as super Mario 2 is actually a reskin of an entirely unrelated game because Nintendo was too scared to release Mario lost levels(actual super mario 2 then in japan) outside japan because they considered it too hard to begin with, Birdo is a boss in that game that wasn't even a mario game to begin with lol. Original game is Doki Doki panic btw.

Vivian didn't become transgender, she always was. Nintendo of America scrubbed any references of her being trans in the original translation. The new release is just being more faithful to the original japanese version of the story.

Femboys aren't but a lot of them decide to transition later on.
