Any gay muslims here?

Hello everyone,

I recently converted to my mother's religion of Islam (dad's a Jew). I feel so happy. The ceremony at the mosque was beautiful, everyone hugged me and I have never felt such brotherly love. It has given me a purpose in life. Spending the early mornings to help with the Suḥūr meals is wonderful. I was just wondering if there are any gay Muslims here? Any groups for us?

not me but i knew some as some of them are my friends, assuming that they are actually gay and not doing it for laughs (it's actually hard to tell. even asking them doesn't help).

That documentary is amazing. I wish it was shown at the mosques all over the world. Being gay is ok.

by the way, i do write stories that feature gay muslims. they are not main characters however as they are more of supportive characters but they play a larger role of what i want to narrate, which is just a story of misfits working together surviving during sci fi war.

i don't know if this counts.

Of course it does. We really need to break the stigma of homosexuality in Muslim communities. Love is a wonderful thing.

again. i'm not gay. what i'm doing is that i just like making diverse characters. i have no ulterior motives other than that i like making characters. i try to treat characters i create communicate to each other well whatever possible.

this also means that i can just make a bigot character and make them not cringe and as someone you can hang out with. the same rule applies here.

That's because Islam and LGBTQ don't mix well.

That's just a tired old argument. Like Christians who argue that LGBTQIA+ doesn't belong in Christianity. Islam is perfectly OK with us. The Prophet, peace be upon him, said himself that everyone will be with those whom he loves.
