halo vs mass effect

even though im a halo simp, i'd choose mass effect. even though me3 ending sucked at least it is consistent and told a consistent story.

and halo had its reputation by generated demand with the most stupidly huge ad campaign in the entire history. people consider half baked mess of halo 2 as a masterpiece just for that stupid reason

After Mass Effect 3 had day 1 DLC and a crappy ending, I'd go for Halo as being the better game. I played Halo more hours anyways, however I have not played anything beyond Reach, and heard that 4 and beyond sucked.

got both, busy with mass effect 3, played quite bit of halo. i prefer mass effect over halo for its story but if it something like the combat then i'm in between.

Never played any mass effect games, I've got the first one on Steam but never really bothered with it

I don't think you can tell which of 2 totally different games is better.
I prefered ME, but that was back when I was playing a lot of RPG games. And I replayed original trilogy 6 times.
I liked Halo, but not close enough to replay any of the games.

i love both for completely different reasons. i can pop in Halo 3 for a few levels and have a great time, but can't really do that with mass effect. it's just a greater time commitment for me.
