what causes a dp no signal?
my monitor had a dp no signal. i reseted the monitor cable, reseted the power of the monitor and pc. i feel like something is lose in the pc but idk what it could be. i pressed everything down again and the monitor worked, i put on the side panel and the monitor turned off again. pushed everything down again and it worked again. so i am now puzzled on what is loose and messing with my monitor that even a little shake from putting the side panel of the pc case turns it off. i am lost here tbh since nothing on the web talks about it.

its a msi Optix G27C5 there is problems with it on the internet but i see no solutions to it.

it has worked fine for years now and is now going wack, i never has a dp problem before till recent

They are like anything else cables go bad often. Heck you can buy a new cable and it can be bad. I had sata cables go bad after years of use.

this is just crazy to me that i actually have to change cables often, i low key thought they were build to last. my water cooler also died this year and i had to change that after only 2 years.

All cables are not the same. You can buy one and it will last for many years you can buy another one and it could last only 2 years.

Plus think of it like this a dp cable is 10 to 20 dollars and it's an easy cheap fix if it don't work you can always send it back for a refund. But I would try a new cable before anything else. My monitor will cut out to a black screen for a few seconds and then come back on just haven't gotten around to buying a new one to try it out and see if that is the problem.
