Lego as an adult
Dear Steam Community,
What do you think about buying and building Lego Sets as an adult?
Im personally a fan of Lego Star Wars.
Some adults buy Lego and sell it more expensive later.
Some people think its childish.
If you are into Lego, tell me whether you build it or whether you want to sell it later…
If I buy Lego then I open and build it. I know the value decreases if you open it, but I think it takes to much space in the original package.
I dont think its childish in both cases..
Please tell me your opinion.
Thank you in advance!

I bought Optimus Prime and the Tallneck last year, I like displaying neat Lego sets. I don't care what whiners think of it, mind.

I think you should do whatever makes you happy and stop caring what other people or women think. I have a close friend, about the same age as me, who still collects Legos, Pokemon cards, and other stuff and has full shelves of collections that he exhibits. Great guy, has no issues with the ladies, and is well respected in his community too.

Just do whatever you want, I wouldn't say it's childish to have a hobby you are passionate about. Whenever I travel around the globe and see huge Lego builds with the names of the staff members who created and designed them, I'm actually impressed.
I like lego

I was really happy with the Tallneck.

Also have the bonsai, which comes with a change of seasons for the repurposed frog molds foliage, which is a neat trick.

I'm interested in some of the architectural ones too but holy ♥♥♥♥ those ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ are space hogs

This is just one of my pirate sets

What would you do if you step on a lego?

I would call the ambulance.
nah, nothing wrong with it. part of being an adult is enjoying what you want and spending your money on what makes you happy as long as it isn't hurting anyone else, which this isn't

kind of weird to separate "other people" and "women" in that sentence
One brick is all you need to kill a man.
who doesn't like lego?

he had to clarify that he considers THOSE creatures as people
Nah, you're missing the point. If you choose to paint me in a negative light, that's fine.
It was hinted that since someone has a nerdy hobby, it would be hard for him to find women who are attracted to him, and that's nonsense.
If you want to feel offended, go ahead, I could not care less about your feelings.

i only said it's "kind of weird," i didn't say anything else about it so i don't see how it's painting you in a negative light

i didn't see anyone hint at that specifically in this thread or in the OP but maybe i missed that, i did skim through all the replies again though. and yes, it is nonsense. there are also "nerdy" women out there anyway

again i only said it's "kind of weird"
If you skimmed through all the comments than surely you've seen this guy.

Either way, I've said my piece, and keep in mind that some comments have been deleted, as they always do. If you still find it "weird" despite me clarifying it, so be it.
