You dislike MS then ;-)
Even if they wanted to, the FTC would block it quicker than the Activision-Blizzard purchase.
Steam stinks !!
Interesting.
Indeed. I missed that in the name...
microsoft is most likely interested in valve for its steam deck patent which microsoft just had news about unveiling a A.i. operated Laptop.
however the sales of such a device was grossly over estimated which is what microsoft always tends to do. the fact that microsoft droped VR tells you just how poorly it was actually doing.
We all known that Microsoft has a unlimited amount of money to throw at these broken game studios, however its been suggested in the past that Microsoft will always be first in line to obtain Steam which was one of the clauses during steams creation because Microsoft developer secrets where used in the creation of steam. The owner worked for Microsoft don't forget.
however i don't really see it being a issue as microsoft and steam have always worked side by side and microsoft was infact one of the first outside companies to start selling games on the steam.
over all the way microsoft has been acting, is that the jigs almost up, after 50 years and decades of dodging lawsuits and breaking ethical user policies its about to soon catch up. its only a matter of time until the broken world governments expect a return on the investments they handed microsoft back in the early 1970's
Old news...

no one's mentioned american megatrends ....
they would only need to buy AMD , since amd makes both GPU and CPU's microsoft making the Operating systems would give it a whole in house monopoly on the product.
