McValue Meal
Introducing the new 40 piece McChicken Nuggets and TWO Medium Fries for an amazing deal of only $25.

Let that sink in. 40 chicken nuggets and two med fries. . . . for $25.

Just a few years ago, you could get 10 chicken nuggets for $1 at Burger King. Fries were $2.99

That's $10 and McDonald's is charging $25.

That means a fast food worker in California would have to work 1hr15mins, before taxes, to be able to afford this value meal.

Make that make sense.

I can go to the El Indio Mexican place just down the street and get rice and beans plus pick two for $8.98.

And free chips and salsa.
For 25 dollars I can buy 4 bags of banquet chicken nuggets and have more nuggets and money left over.

It's called inflation. Massively increase the money supply and then legislate minimum wage.

Inflation, both affecting wallets and bellies. :hp_kyu:

Fast food however is a more affordable option over healthier foods in many Western countries. Asia did food prices well though. :hp_nikki:

People say inflation, but companies are making more profit now as a percentage than they were before the inflation crisis.

Greed.

It's not greed. Competition minimizes greed. It's a function of input costs in a competitive environment.

Free markets and competition, baby. What happened to it?
well here in Mcdonalds you can buy 30 chicken nuggets and a chicken burger with cola and fries for around ¥2,160 which is about 14 usd
i think your place earns you more money though so you'd have to pay more? not sure how it works there but I'd probably agree with Angel's words

You know like, a half-dozen companies own everything, right?
