Why even use dating apps in the first place?
Human nature. People want love and companionship.
But in this case if it clearly doesn't work, why stick with them? Surely there are other ways of meeting women.
Well, in reality men care more about looks than women. Of course, some women can be extremely picky and want to date only bodybuilders but we know that doesn't apply to the majority. Anyway, it amazes me that people pay to use dating apps, because you can find various dating groups for free on Facebook or something. This never made sense to me.

How do you get what you want? Adapt and overcome. If you want it, the sure-fire method is to engage and give yourself opportunities.
You hear stories of success and failure. Less than 50% of marriages survive these days. Why? Is it because of them? Or you? Marriage is compromise. Find a mate that agrees with you on principles and values.
