There is nothing more boring.
Same hoes for enemies that have unlimited ammo, don't have to reload, and apparently have unlimited grenades In their bum.
They ruined a gem with too high repair costs, thousands & thousands of micro transactions schemes & matchmaking issues, plus a few gamebreaking bugs thats been around for years. Lack of qol updates the community has been asking for for 5+ years etc.
So i.would say, devs, or the ones in charge of the economy side & grind of some games - who never played the damn thing themselves.
"Ooh how can we squeeze as many dollars as possible from our players" ending up ruining the whole thing when taking it too far. A 9/10 (what should be) game became an.average 5/10...
Quests that involve acquiring a resource to progress which spawns in a bunch of chests at random, thus leading to the player running around in a tunnel for five minutes for effectively no real reason.
Quests that involve using various items that (a lot of the time) cannot easily be acquired in or around the area in which the quest takes place, and results in teleporting to the shop multiple times throughout the duration of the quest, or using a guide to gather them beforehand.
Basically what I'm saying is: I don't like RuneScape's (old) quests. They have so much unnecessary running-around sections, or game design which just makes absolutely no sense.
This is so true. Even a non grindy game can feel tedious because it doesnt have a proper UI
