Sorry if I've got ♥♥♥♥ tastes, I kinda enjoy the more action-focused ones.

If you like Death Note, Soul Eater and Blue Exorcist, i think you will like Black Butler, Deadman Wonderland, and possibly D.Gray Man

I wonder how "okish" it might've actually been. I watched it years ago and thought it was amazing, but I need to rewatch it to affirm whether or not it might've been as good as I remembered.

Either way, your list has some thing that I didn't really enjoy so it's probly we just have different tastes.

It just got boring to me pretty fast. I prefer linearity. Baccano is basically about retelling the same story from different perspectives. It felt long and unnecessary.

soka, that's literally one of the things I loved about it. The director did a good job in my opinion and if it had been linear it wouldn't have as much depth as I think it did. And considering how there were 3 main arcs fit into 12 episodes, I think it's understandable but I can also see how your complaint is valid.

I don't have any order but I enjoy Attack On Titan, Samurai Champloo, Free! Iwatobi Swimclub, Kuroshitsuji, Deadman Wonderland and Magi.

I feel like people like anime just because it's anime. Like if they see an anime series, they would immediatly think it looks cool because of the art style.
