WTF happened to Fable 3 on steam?

I had fable 3 on my xbox and remembered that it used to be on steam. I just recently upgraded my pc so i can run things well so I thought I'd rebuy it but it's gone. So I was just wondering what happened that made it get takedn off the steam store and can I still buy it somewhere else?

Oh ok thanks cool, too bad it's not on steam anymore. Does the online still work because I was thinking would be fun to play with my bud we used to local co op it on my xbox, but that was kinda clunky since we had to share the same screen.

Looks like online multi-player is alive, but few are playing. I never played co-op, but it appears that there is no local co-op mode at all, just online.

it's pretty much gone because GFWL is dying, but microsoft refused to let it be patched out of Fable 3, so without the ability to get a new GFWL account, but needing it to play the game.... problem is obvious so steam killed it off before it was too late.
