Perhaps yes, perhaps no. Mario 3D world being my latest purchase, I'm amazed at how good and creative it is. 9/10
Hmm,
So what about CoD Games?
Microsoft and the others do it a different way, they use the "pads" people already own, ipads and iphones or whatever can be integrated into games if necessary, but its really not. Looking down just breaks immersion, its like saying your keyboard or your mouse would be better if you tacked a big screen to either of them. Controllers which just become and extension of you create an immersive experience, people stop consciously thinking about their gamepad, their mouse/wasd, but with touch screens, its just not a good system, its not responsive, and its just slow... its like kinnect control in games, just let me push a %@# button already.... touch screens are ok when its the least worst solution for situationis where normal controls are impractical, but in games, it tends to be a joke.
The fisher price nature of that big controller is just going to look worse as it ages, tablets are already super thin and super high resolution, and the gap is just going to get worse....
