WarGames the Old Classic RTS Game from Win95/98

Any of you fellow gamers remember WarGames that game that was for Win95/98 but was also compatible for WinXP and Windows Vista, boy does it bring back huge amounts of memories! :) I still own that game till today and I so want to play it so badly but the only way is if I install older OS's... Anyone has any game moments they like to share?

wargame red dragon-no base building but tons of units
meridion new world-early accses (probably not spelt it right) looks good as well

Metal Fatigue - Awesome game with multi-layered combat (underground, surface and air). Customizable mechs with the ability to use enemy parts in the field.

Warzone 2100 - Probably one my favorite RTS because of the level of custom units you can create and the focus battery and counter battery strategy. Also has the biggest tech tree in any game.

Persistent base and units in the single player campaign.

Total Annihilation - It's TA. it needs no introduction.

Wargames - based on the movie. It's an odd one on PC and PSX.

Dune II: The Battle for Arrakis - Clunky mechanics after playing Command & Conquer that came after.

Ground Control series - I love how they handled control zones and acquire units.

Warcraft 2 - the setting in this game is awesome.

WarGames is an EPIC Game that was made! Warcraft II Also was another great one!

I was a big fan of the Act of War series (well, the original one at least). I don't know if it's been modified yet, but the last time I tried to play it was a few years ago, and you had to basically gimp your system to get it to run (in the meantime your computer would struggle with running the OS, so the game did not run smoothly at all).

I remember Act of War but it would never install whenever i tried installing it on my old computer when i used to run WinXP Pro

Well, they sell it on Steam, AND I found a fix on ModDB for the game. I haven't tried it yet, though people are posting promising comments in the discussion section.
