Google Translate that bad boy :B1:
I would but I can never garantee the right grammar (as you probably know :p)
try to found people in a japanese group,,,,
I believe that would be (in Romajii, Steam doesn't like me using Japanese for some reason)

Hitobito ga nihongo wakaru wo sagasu. karera to nihongo wo renshitai.

I think that would translate to "I am searching for people who understand Japanese. I want to practice Japanese with them."

I could be wrong, though. Shasow probably knows.

It would actually be hitobito ga, not hito ga as the first two words. Sorry about that.
lol? This is the third thread in a row that I can't delete.

Lately there was a change to the forums where you can't delete a thread if it's over an hour old.
oh wow. How recent was this?
This is what google translate comes up with. I kept it at one sentence, is it correct?

sentence:

I'm currently learning Japanese. I'm a beginner, looking for someone to learn with.

私は現在日本語を勉強しています。私はと学ぶために誰かを探して、初心者だ。

I'm not too good with Kanji (still learning myself), but that looks correct. Just is a little unnatural. To be more natural you wouldn't use 私はtwice (or even at all).

EDIT: Now that I look at it, the second half of that doesn't look correct at all to me.
EDIT #2. Hearing it in Google Translate (with the audio button), I now see it isn't correct. I'll do my best to revise the second half. First is fine, though. Give me a few minutes.

EDIT #3.

Second half would be correctly written

私と誰か学ぶのために探して。

Reads as "わたしとだれかまなぶのためにさがして。"

It doesn't include "I'm a beginner," though. You'd need a second sentence for that. It would be written like this:

初心です。

Reads as "しょしんです。"

Google Translation can often be misleading, if you're in need of help in the future, shoot a message on my profile.
@ [FuG] chibilibi

Hey good job. That was a lot of work. Can't wait to start learning this myself.

So this is correct?

私は現在日本語を勉強しています。私と誰か学ぶのために探して。初心です。

How long did it take to learn kanji? And do you learn Japanese grammar + the symbols at the same time?
