I've used red solo cups for cereal plenty of times in my college days.

All the dishes were dirty and I had to go so I just drank my cereal.

No, I used a pint glass. The other choice was a pot with no handle or a very dirty frying pan.

I was timekeeping at a motorsport rally and they put me up in questionable accommodation.

yeah ♥♥♥♥♥♥ cafeteria kept running out of everything else. just dumped flakes in a mug and milked them.

but wait, the mlik was rotten. the milk machine wasn't cooling it properly either.

then there's the never-ending mold in the premium water machine, which the manager (whose office was full wall to wall with excellence awards from Bon Appetit headqaurters, many of them effeciency and quarterly cost management bonuses) eventually just gave up on doing anything about.

then the university shut the cafeteria down and forced everyone on its mandatory meal plan to eat in a tent for two years. so they could remodel to have more than one oven serving 2000 people.
