Within The Bible itself we get Moses's father-in-law Jethro who is a priest of Yahweh in Edom.

In Edom, the whole Canaanite Pantheon was worshiped. Each of the Gods had their own sect of priests, and Jethro just happened to be a Priest of Yahweh.

We also get this confirmation:

Who is this who comes from Edom, from the city of Bozrah, with his clothing stained red? Who is this in royal robes, marching in his great strength? “It is I, the LORD, announcing your salvation! It is I, the LORD, who has the power to save!”

...

God came from Teman (Edom), and the Holy One from Mount Paran.

Don't need no evidence, don't need no human approval.

definitively needs to be seen and argued for, the pointless scholarship being a ritualized method of arguing their existence in a circle indefinitely.

it takes advantage of people's desire to fan things and learn their history.

Too specific. Who cares.

That individual rights trump all and the Golden Rule is good are some things to consider.

Well, yeah. I'm here.

Still, we don't want to throw the baby out with the bathwater. Religion has value. It has analyzed humanity at a fundamental level over thousands of years.
Your question makes no sense. A religion is the act of believing or worshipping or following a set of rules. "Proof of religion" would simply be seeing people "acting religious" ;)

Proof of god? No, but nor is there proof of no god. Who cares? If he/she/it is out there he clearly doesn't care about earth
According to the US Supreme Court Atheism is a protected religion. So you're either picking a religion to follow or you try to pick the absences of a religion and end up in a religion anyways.

Ironically there seems to be the same level of factual evidence that either the atheists or the religious person is correct. Both take it on "faith" that they're correct.

A technical legality does not a philosophy make.

And the difference between the 'take on faith' person and the logical, is that the logical person does not have to rely on superseding the very strict laws of physics.

That's kind of a big deal.

the us' legal philosophy centers around technical legalities.

it's what precednet is founded on. interpreting technicalities.

the reason being they found themselves squashed between two asscracks with a load of ♥♥♥♥ on the way, and the judaic experience is awfully similar. so they copied that, just like they copied native american tribal councils. which developed for similar reason in the wake of the all-plague.

I'm an atheist. And I believe both are correct. The values and principles of a religion are what should be at issue.

Anything?

No pedantic psychological BS?

None whatsoever, just unexplained things which I don't put down to any of these things.

romans destroyed israel, spread out the hebrews all over the world, yet the nation revived 2000 years later

babylonians gone
assyrians gone
ancient egyptians gone
hebrews miraculously still a nation

Near death experience majority report feeling unconditional love during nde event, who preached unconditional love?

no one use buddha as curse word, its always g or jc being used as cuss word when people mad

most published book of all time until recently is bible

something so amazing happened 2000 years ago that it took over roman empire and people still argue about it. cant think of another event that is discussed so heavily still today

No offense, but these are some weak justifications, and explains why there are so many atheists and agnostics.

The first point makes no sense. The second can be medically explained. The third is a linguistic quirk or just semantics. The fourth and fifth is an example of argumentum ad populum: you might as well say Titanic is better than Blade Runner because it sold a thousand times more tickets.

The Titanic movie was just the powers that be seem to be bragging about the creation of the FED. Morgan should of went down with his ship. He was the captain.
very good point. It's a long enough time for corruption to find it's way into and between translations of the event.
