Not quite a day every day for something, but looks like a third of the year is a day for something or the other. Perhaps by 2030 there will be something going on every day of the year.
Kind of removes the power of having a thing at all.
They just replace God with something else they pursue with fervor.
but yeah sure I wish carl would stop killing them too.
There's some irony for ya...
people have accused atheism of being a death cult in the past, since it tends to accelerate the circumstances of ones death (not always, but god's going to be flinging more soul-crushing ♥♥♥♥ your direction on average and that wears on people and that makes you die faster,) but the source of such accusations were like. the post-reformation curch(es.) who were actually fostering and supporting death cults, since god likes death.
as such the argument that a properly supported atheistic reality could satisfy god without bringing along all of the problematic stuff that's become embedded in relgion and religious hierarchies...kind of exists, but I'm not really committed to either perspective personally. the fact is different approaches are better suited for different people's situations, and trying to create a unified 'single mode' is just kind of bad. and also one of god's decrees, so...damned either way, really, so we should try to be supportive of the choices people make.
If there is a God maybe he wants you to critically think. To use your brain. And, he sends Muslims and Christians to hell because they are unable to think, and are in fact sheep. God hates sheep. Anyway, you have to prove your God first.
no; I don't. god can suck my ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ ♥♥♥♥. I don't have to prove ♥♥♥♥ to him, he's a retarded ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ robot. the idea of me giving a ♥♥♥♥ about my death when he won't let me die is insane.
so, respectuflly, I disagree.
Organised religion is a business, if you view it as such, it matters more customers buy the product (gods words/wisdom etc) and keep their subscription services paid up (donations to church, mosque, temple etc.).
They don't like competition, be that rival faiths or non faiths, as that is loss of revenue as well as actual power.
Religion does not respect national sovereignty. The concept of borders or individualism means nothing to them, as their goal is everyone in a monopolistic fashion.
From the business side of it. That is the real reason. In my view. Money as always.
It’s pretty ironic, in my opinion.
The most “hardcore” atheists, whom vocally bash the religious / Christians as being delusional and believing in made-up stories, always seem to listen to and repeat everything that’s said in the news…
