After 30.
It's very weird, I nearly got knocked out for how quickly my maturity came in after I reached the age of 30.
It`s a completely individual thing. Some guys go total impotent at 45-50 and some chase 18 year olds at 80.
I wear a belt so my pants don't inexplicably fall down at an inopportune time. I don't want to have to do any explaining when I'm on stage in the middle of a presentation. It also helps to take a cold shower afterward.
Maybe you were repressing it before?

When you are a teenager it's normally the hardest struggle because you are fighting against the urge and at the same time there's puberty with your hormones surging. It's partly so strong just because you are denied it and feel like you are missing out on something you can't wait for. Yet it's not that big as you make it.
The more you dwell upon something, the more it will draw you into it. Outlet to control and/or distractions can help. Over time this becomes easier to control. Ironically trying to not think of something will still have that topic on your mind, you need to swap/replace it if you really want to do that. Keep busy with other things.
