What are your worse experiences at restaurants?

I rarely eat fast food, but lucky me, about 3 years ago, I stupidly decided to get a burger at Mc-Trash-Donalds, about 30 minutes later puked it out! 🤢🤮.. I'll NEVER again.

A branch from a Michelin Starred restaurant. There were only two tables including myself but it took over half an hour to get service as they hired terrible staff. We asked why it took so long, they offered complimentary drinks (but we declined) and I gave them a bad review. A month later they shut down.

And a restaurant that over an hour and a half from ordering, the food never arrived and staff kept advising "It's coming in a few minutes". We walked out.

There were snails on the plate!

You'd think at a fancy restaurant, with those prices, they'd be able to keep the snails off the food!

I remember asking at the drive-thru for a McDonald's ice cream hot fudge sundae. They gave me an ice cream cone instead. I politely asked them to change it to a sundae, since that's what I ordered and they got it wrong. The employee dumped the ice cream cone into a cup and handed it to me. Terrible customer service.

Well so one time me and a group of friends went to a restaurant. We came from a special occasion so we were all dressed fancy and the restaurant wasn't a fancy place, was more traditional so we sticked out.

Anyways, we go in and sit down. Waited for the waitress to pick up our order for a good 30 minutes but she didnt came, so we called her, she said she would come right up, passes anlther good 15 minutes. Called her again at least 2 more times. After at least 1.5 hours without being able to order, we decide to leave. Instead of apologizing she instead decides to insult us and calls us disrespectful. Yeah, not great...

nothing particularly bad ordering from one
working from one was a different story, dealing with actual adult babies coming in one minute before work and crying that they can't get a whole meal out in 60 seconds, multiple threats of violence and racist slurs over stuff that was uncontrollable especially within my field
just awful, I wouldn't wish customer service on anybody especially anyone suffering with mental health issues already cause it will worsen that ♥♥♥♥ tenfold
just remember these workere are still human and they're going to mess up sometimes, they're overworked and underpaid, empathy costs you nothing uwu

We only wanted to order Venusian Beef but the waitress just never came to take our order.

ordered 100 cheeseburgers at macdonalds one time (before inflation)

like 1/3rd of them were missing either pickle or the cheese itself..

in-n-out forgot my order 5 out of 7 times.

I even tried ordering with someone, with them relaying the entire order, and they gave them the correct order minus my food.

several different locations years, months, and weeks apart.

only happened to me, not anyone else.

Ever since the 2020/pandemic its been bad... Like really bad.

Don't get me wrong its had its moments and I do "enjoy" going there, at times.

But waiting like your whole lunch break just to get something to eat isn't so fun

had a new crew give me hot sauce in my chalupa. because it was 'the thing' at the time idk. that and crap like giving me the wrong soda because they were out, instead of asking at the window. just flat-out forgetting a part of my order and not saying anything.

between that and the price increases i don't see the point in going.

Was eating chicken, not really paying attention to the food, cause the view was amazing (and it did taste nice). Looked down and saw that the chicken was near-raw on the inside.

(One good thing though: Didn't get sick. Yay!)

Went to a rodizio. Was a regular for 20 months. They got used to me. Came to me with empty forks and ignored my request for whatever I wanted. Totally giving up on that place.


Stupid people resented me eating a lot at an 'all you can eat' place. Hope they close down.
