Bbbut, furries say it's not a sexual fetish. They go on about community and fun and pretend and all that... You mean it actually is a sexual fetish? I am shocked!
cooked to perfection.
And those are the hardcore furries. A lot of people just like catgirl art and leave it at that. For instance I love the VN series Nekopara, but I would never wear a fursuit.
In comparison there are gay people who make "being gay" their entire identity. They talk gay, they act gay, they flirt with men. They flaunt it in your face at every opportunity. They're insufferable and it's really disgusting. In comparison very few hetero men make "being hetero" their sole identity. Most of us have hobbies, jobs, and interests outside of sex. Sure we like women but we don't flirt with everyone at the drop of a hat. But you can't tell these radical queers that there's something wrong with them because then they jump on the hate train and make you out to be a bigot.
To be honest I don't understand it either. I think part of it might be hate for AI artwork. Furries have easy access to furry artwork now so you see more of it cropping up on the internet. I love these music videos with bunny girls.

I see so much hate for AI artwork and I wonder if part of it, is that.
Be honest. How many artists complaining about AI stealing their jobs were doing furry art in the first place?
Ah, the activist militant furry fursonae personae... type.
I think I remember something like that, here, about two years ago. I suppose they could be seasonal.
Esoteric micro-cultures are strange, especially when it involves dangly bits.
Not sure. I'm guessing it's someone really, really thirsty for furry stuff.
Doubtful, TikTok doesn't radicalize people into supporting common sense.
Yea, retreating, because moral outrage can only be taken so seriously. Everyone's morality changes throughout life, and it is the only ground the right has to stand on. They can't argue a point with you and will resort to just getting angry. Blaming random individuals for the woes of the world. Then say oh woe ho hey what about society and the children, as if their role in all of this has become completely obsoleted by the fact you exist and think different. The left is not much better though. Provoking people needlessly so everyone is on edge all the time is not a good strategy either, but I think has ♥♥♥♥♥♥ much better lately so really good job. Just observations. Hope everyone is having a good day. Love to you all.
