i didn't. I merely said the truth. Stop trying to flip the scipt foxy

How can you say the truth when you don't even know the truth? You just made accusations and passive aggressive statements about your judgement of my character. That is disrespectful and not "flipping the script". stop with your bs

just like a pitbull... SMH

u should stop with your bs gaslighting projection S but since u are so in love with your lies it's best you just "go away" :)
well i do vote for the good and am a shining example of how to behave and it certainly is just most people behaving like crap which results in the environment we have so...

???
Sometimes, we are being deceived into voting for those who aren't actually good, but they misled us into thinking they are good and are anything but, good. Furthermore, good and evil are old news and poor categorization; there is grey area in pretty much everything, too.

Keep in mind that "we aren't being judged for our intentions, but from the results we achieve". Sometimes, being an example or a "good" role model, not only achieves a goal, but can even bring the complete opposite result to the good one, or the one being desired, needed etc. And obviously, we cannot hope to contend against "evil" entities or groups, by being "good", nice, with sense of fair play, ourselves.

There is a time that "evil" is being needed, or else balance is never going to be. A necessary "evil", if you will or at least, a carefully measured dose of "bitter medicine", to a condition that cannot be undone through conventional means.

Whenever in doubt, do remember the chinese nugget of wisdom; "one element can be fought, either with a bigger force of the same essence, or by its polar opposite one".

Perhaps it's because they never took the time to read their holy book from the start, instead learning about religion from individuals who similarly neglected to engage with the sacred texts. It's just my guess tho.

You mean they never bothered to read the list of ten things never to do.. hm thought that would've been the easy part of the book. Maybe they should do a summary on the back cover with just the list.
reading holy books out of context is not rly meaningfull, u also have to read the historical events to grasp whats goin on

Religion is a hypocrite, killing is wrong, go mass kill people that believe different from us

Because most religions have such a massive amount of text/interpretation that nearly everything goes against them if you do enough gymnastics.

Especially with the internet now that edgy atheists can Google "Bible contradictions" and point out the verse about mixing fabrics for the hundredth time...

神道 shinto?
Faith: Belief in something
Religion: Set of rules (usually for everybody to follow except the ones sharing the rules)
Not all people who attend church or say grace are true Christians. Some like to just pay lip-service to God in this manner, in the hopes that it’ll be sufficient enough to grant them salvation in the afterlife. They think they don’t have to practice and uphold the Bible’s teaching in their day-to-day life, so long as they give off the appearance of being a good person.

It’s a lot like how politicians will offer things to certain groups of people in order to garner votes, only to later abandoned their campaign promises once they get into office. Or how corporations will act like they are “allies” of whatever social justice movement is currently trending, but in reality they’re only doing it so that members of those movements will give them their money.

Good deeds and good morals are a great platform for bad people to advance their own standings in life. This is why the Bible tells you that God makes the ultimate judgement of people when they die. You can fool other human beings, but you cannot ever run away from Him.
There are over 1000 religions. So which one is the right one?
My theory is that it's because people who need guilt, shame and instructions from others in order to just be decent aren't good people to begin with.
Christianity is about being saved by grace. Christians are saved by faith in the only being who ever lived a truly righteous life Christ Jesus. He never sinned or fell short of the glory of God. Everyone else has.

In fact the bible tells of people God used to do good who committed incest, murder, adultery, and other crimes. Jonah was so hateful of the Ninavites that he ran away from God. God showed Jonah that Jonah cared more for a plant that gave him shade than people who didn't know their left hand from their right, children, and animals.

i can't tell much about christianity (which apparently is the only religion in the western society) but trust me when i say that wahhabists are (or were) hardcore, so hardcore that somehow us slightly secular/moderate ones are either too fixated to them or hate them.

Christianity isn't the only religion in western society.

No, What you are describing is the belief that Paul had about Jesus, and so you are a follower of Paul, not Jesus. In the rich man, and the sheep and the goats Jesus talks about doing good and giving your possessions to the poor to be saved. You have a Paul belief my friend. Is it any wonder that Paul never spoke of the works that Jesus did while alive.

And finally, depending on the Christian denomination it depends on what you mean by being saved. Catholics, Baptist, Pentecostals, Calvinist, etc. There are over 35,000 Christian denominations and they all believe that they have the correct path to salvation. Which IMO makes Christianity false.

You can't use the bible to prove the bible. That is a circular fallacy. What you are describing are claims, not facts. Post something outside the bible and then we can talk. You haven't proven why anyone should believe the bible.
Its not all doom and gloom, reading scriptures can sometimes redpill the reader into realizing its all a steaming pile of BS, and leave.
