If that is the case and we ie. talk about videogames, then I want (depending on genre etc)
Great gameplay
Belieable story, characters and interactions that fit the theme.
Player agency (if possible, depends on genre)
No quotas
I think its a pretty normal expectation to have.
the rest of us suffer sadly
Once you let the devil in your house you can never remove him.
I don't want someone else doing that to my games.
Sidenote: we keep seeing these topics when most of us know there is a simple solution to this problem. Have woke people make games for woke people and leave the rest of the games alone so others can enjoy games the way they want to.
Win-Win. Understand? Sadly you won't because internet. Anonymous + hiding behind keyboard makes for commentary you wouldn't normally say in real life company.
Yup, It's more like the establishment once again regaining power over liberals. It's liberals that reject everything that is normal. This war started back in the 60's with free love that went against the establishment.
I know, I am old but I been there and know the society isn't going the way everybody hoped.
establishment has strong beliefs that isn't compatible with liberals as you listed above. Family values, raising families, morality such as man and woman. The liberals reject all that.
This is why we are seeing that war still ongoing in real life and in gaming forums.
Bingo, That the best answer to the question.

Slight correction, the subtitles say Helen Hindpere when it she says Ilya Repin. Helen Hindpere is the woman speaking, one of the writers, whose bio states, "socialist".
It isn't a 100% political game, but when it gets political, it's most often from a leftist lens.
While the game makes a mockery of every ideology, including socialism, through the protagonist, the writing is, as is to be expected from socialist writers, pretty in line with progressive ideas. -The theme of racism is explored through your sidekick, a national of foreign descent, and racist nationalist characters. -All of its nationalistic characters are caricatures of nationalists. -The smart "ultra-liberal" (in-game term for right-wing liberal) drops some lines critical of capitalism, portraying her as a self-aware as opposed to commited to her ideology. -Most of the leftist characters, maybe except for one or two of them, are portrayed as fairly reasonable and/or well-meaning individuals.
EDIT: I've seen many praise the game and its writing, even from center and right. But all of the hate I saw, and I mean hate and not criticism, came from right-wing perspectives.
Coffee no help. Me want sleep.
