Is "woke" the new "that's satanic"?

In the early 2000s everything the "trads conservatives and christians" hated was satanic...

Now it seems the same people that got offended over a dull things such as pokemon are now getting offended over non violent cartoon for toddlers, not sexualized women and non-white people in their movies, are we going backwards or are just they a loud minority online? Because the people I interact with irl no one really cares about that.

We have laws in the US to enforce the same thing - In hiring practices, It is against the law to discriminate against someone for the race, gender, sexual identity, etc..

It is not illegal to "preach to people" but it is certainly against the law to force or constraint them to listen to you and a private business has the right to eject and refuse to serve anyone they wish. It is not legal to harass people in public spaces or be a nuisance, but such persons can use public spaces if they wish for the purposes of formally saying whatever they wish, within reason (they can't call for violence), if they properly apply to the local government to do so.

I'm not on the side of the puritans either ~ don't expect me to be defending them. By most metrics, I'm anti-puritan.

The anti-woke movement isn't a moral movement, either. Nor is it from conservatives, exactly. It's mostly people who just want to enjoy normal pieces of fiction

If you ask a puritan to explain why something's satanic, odds are they'll toss you a Bible.

If you ask one of the so called "Conservatives" to explain why they're anti-woke, they'll give you a whole speech on corruption, bribes, and politics in the gaming industry.

No, it isn't the same. This is made clear by the fact some people never stopped calling various things "Satanic." They were doing it before all this "woke" business. While those people would currently call some "woke" stuff "Satanic," there are also lots of people complaining about "woke" stuff who would not think of things in the same way as the people who go around calling stuff "Satanic."
