That´s not stigmatization though. Why should anyone date a depressed person? Where´s the fun in that? People should perhaps get themselves in check first, before they want to share their life with others.

But usually You want a relationship, because You want to have good times, and preferably less problems, because You have something to offer. Something else than mental issues.

It doesn´t stigmatize mental health, but it stigmatize that You´re less productive, or useful, with mental health issues. And that´s not only in the U.S. Like if You can´t go to work with a broken arm, the people understand it. I You can´t go to work because of burn out, the people will think You make this up, as they can´t see into Your brain, and assume that You just want to be lazy at home, even more so when they themselves also don´t like their work, but somehow handle it.
